Louis J. Hindman

Louis J. Hindman, 72, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Louis retired in 2003 from the Hamilton County Highway Department after 29 years. He loved fishing, old cars and building go carts. Louis was preceded in death by several siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Oddie Hindman; son, Barry Hindman (Connie); sister, Imogene Hindman Youngblood (Ralph); grandchildren, Hollie and Hailie; great grandchildren, Raylie and Kylie; special nephews, David, Sr. (Sue), David Jr. and Billy Hindman; sister-in-law, Anita Burton Gibson (James Samuel); several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Services will be on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Ricky Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Dodd Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
