Linda Ann George

Linda A. George, 55, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 26, 2019. Linda was born in Cleveland, OH on November 18, 1963. She moved to Glen Mills, PA at a young age and graduated from Garnet Valley High School in 1981. She went on to graduate from Swarthmore College and worked for law firms in Philadelphia, PA. Linda moved to Chattanooga, TN in 2000 and worked for Erlanger Hospital in legal compliance for over ten years.

Linda is survived by her husband of 31 years, John D. George; son, Christopher (Sydney) George; daughter, Stephanie (Henrique Ribeiro) George; siblings, Susan Winder of Orlando, FL and Stephen Rowley of Hampton, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Patricia Rowley of Wilmington, DE.

Linda was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, loved spending time in Destin, FL, and had strong faith in God. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on May 11, 2019 at 11am (10768 Dayton Pike Soddy Daisy, TN 37379).

The family is grateful for the condolences, and in lieu of flowers, Linda wished for donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. “Faith, Family, and Friends”
