I was heartened to see the gracious thanks to my father, Gilbert T. Stein, in "Mac's" obituary. My father spoke of Mac often and with great love and respect, and of course, I knew him as well, although I was pretty young (22) at the time. All who spent time in the Stein Construction family, and especially the Steins themselves, and me, appreciate those kind words. I am sorry I missed the service and the opportunity to thank you all in person.

Uncle Lawrence was a very kind and generous man that will be missed by many. He always had time to talk and visit (what little he talked), but would always listen and offer a good suggestion to the problem. No goodbyes just until we meet again. In our thoughts always, we Love you.
