Larry Hicks

Larry R. Hicks, 81, of Sale Creek, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. He was a native of Alabama and lived in Sale Creek for over 40 years. He was a graduate of Central High School where he was star basketball player. Larry retired from DuPont and later had his own business remodeling commercial property. He loved watching the Lady Vols basketball. Larry coached softball for many years and loved talking to people.

Survivors are his loving wife of 47 years, Lynne Johnson Hicks; children, Leslie Harris (Jay), Chris White (Amy) and Dianna Richard (James); grandchildren, Zach Haynes, Brandon Haynes, Abbi Richard, Eli Richard, Bryce White, Brynn White and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
