Kitty Sims

Kitty O. Sims, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021. She was of the Baptist faith. Kitty loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Ida Davis; ex-husband, Charles E. Sims; daughter, Kathy Lynn Sims Posey; son, Ricky James Sims; grandson, Stephen Brian Sims and siblings, Alma Grant, Thelma Allen, Talma Davis, Jeanette Eustice, Francie Davis, Charlotte Smith and Claude Davis, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Sims.

Survivors are her sons, Steve Sims and Ronnie Sims; grandchildren, Daniel Brent Sims, David Kent Sims, Sonya Sims, Angel Posey, Shana Sims; great grandchildren, McKenzie Grace Sims, Bryson Posey, Camden Sims, Cooper Sims and Rylan Sims; siblings, Anna Ruth Allen, Bobbie Bradley and Walter Davis; niece and caretaker, Jéne Coffman and niece, Kathy Patton and extended family.

Services will be Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and before the service on Friday at the funeral home.
