Karen Chambers Cranmore went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29, 2021. A native to Ringgold, Georgia, Karen spent many years in the Soddy Daisy area. She is preceded in death by her Husband, David Ray Cranmore, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, father Joseph A. Chambers, mother Dorothy Mathis Chambers, sister Yvonne Chambers Robinson, brother-n-law Homer A. Robinson, and niece Lori Robinson Collins all of the Ringgold area. Though many have passed, she is survived by her son David Scott Cranmore of Ooltewah, Tennessee, daughter Shonda Cranmore Burnett (Alvin) of Oklahoma, sisters Noveita Chambers Roe (Randy) of Chapin, South Carolina, Glynis Chambers of Delray Beach, Florida, and brother Wayman A. Chambers (Sonya) of Harrison, Tennessee. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Karen was a nurse for 30+ years and a avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan. Her passion was helping others, not only in the medical field, but also as a Pastors Wife and leader in the church. Karen enjoyed southern gospel music, reading the Bible, and singing/playing piano. Her life's goal was to see as many souls saved as possible. She and her late Husband, David Cranmore, traveled many miles over the years preaching God’s word and was a true blessing to those who met them.
Message from her son:
My Mom was a true saint of God. I am so thankful the last few months she was able to be in church with me. She had such a joy on her face everytime I would look out at her. I will truly miss seeing her! -Scott
