Joyce Hamby

Joyce Lasley Hamby, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 29, 2021. She is a member of the The Galilean Church. She was devoted to her weekly prayer group. Joyce liked to work in her yard and sew. She was preceded in death by her son, James Michael “Hambone” Hamby, II; parents, Elbert and Anna Lasley; brother, William “Bill” Lasley.

Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Mike Hamby; children, Felecia Lemke (Paul); grandchildren, Logan Benton (Quincy), Jacob Benton (Charity), Hannah May (Josh), Whyatte Stickel; siblings, Rita Jones and Judy Smith (Jack); several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
