Joey Armijo

Joseph Anthony Armijo, 50, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. He worked at National Boiler Service. Joey was a beautiful soul inside and out whom everyone loved so very much. He loved life and his family even more, always putting them first in everything. He had many friends who enjoyed his zaniness and “lalalalala” laughs. Joey loved family BBQs and dinners, visiting his family in Utah and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed chasing “dead presidents”, going 4wheeling on the mountain with his brothers, attending biker rallies, listening to loud music and dancing the night away at friends get togethers. Joey was a selfless individual who knew how to brighten anyone’s day and make them feel included. He was a genuinely good person who will be missed terribly by all his family and friends. “I promise you” as he would say.

Joey is survived by his children, Joseph Armijo (McKenzie) and Cristina Armijo (Dayton); mother of his children, Laura Phillips; step-daughters, Samantha Phillips and Alex Phillips; sisters, Raelena Rorrer (Fam) and Paula Phillips; brothers, Michael Armijo, Dan Munoz and Johnny Munoz; nieces and nephews, Sabrina Munoz, Savannah Munoz, Bobby Katuzian, Amanda Rollins, Amber Rorrer, Ashley Gelsone, Amy Rorrer along many other loving family members and friends.

There will be a gathering to celebrate Joey’s life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
