Jerry Smith, 75, of Soddy Daisy, TN passed away May 21, 2022. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Soddy Daisy. Jerry was one of the original starting members of the Soddy Daisy Volunteer Fire Department where he also served as an EMT. He was with the Fire Department for over fifty-one years. Jerry retired from Dupont after thirty-nine years of service.

His parents, George and Helen Smith; his son, Chip Smith and his brother, Tommy Jackson, preceded him in death.

Jerry is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Alma Smith; his daughter, and son-in-law, Melissa and Peeper Beach; an aunt, Jane Buckner and his grandchildren, Hunter and Erin Stolz, Logan Smith and Harley and Hailey Beach.

Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Christ Family Church, 12070 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
