Jerry Bowers

Jerry Layne Bowers, 61, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. He worked for Tennessee Trailers for over 10 years. Jerry enjoyed NASCAR, model cars and working on cars when he was able. His grandson was his world. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Holbert and Vera Bowers.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Bowers; son, Christopher Layne Bowers; daughters, Michelle Bowers; brother, Leon Bowers (Peggy); sister, Janice Cooke; grandson, Tavis Freeman and niece, Wendy Clendenen.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Granny Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral
