Jim went to be with his Lord and Savior to meet with his mother and daddy and his baby Buttons who was his constant companion of 14 years. Jim was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Dupont after 32 years of service.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, T.W. Floyd and mother, Rosetta Mace Green Floyd.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Barbara Lancaster Floyd; brother, Jerry D. (Eve) Floyd; daughter, Mindy L. Weaver; son, James Matthew Floyd; grandchildren, Dustin (Ally) Watkins, Hayden Weaver and Alaina Hixson; and great grandchildren, Carter McCallie Watkins and Ella Rose Watkins.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
