James Gabbert "Gabby" Williamson Jr.

James Gabbert “Gabby” Williamson, Jr., 76, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. He was a Member and a Deacon at the Soddy Church of Christ. Gabby was a Funeral Director/Embalmer with Williamson & Sons Funeral Home having served his community and surrounding areas for most of his life. He was also a member of the Soddy Masonic Lodge 418 F&AM.

His parents Jimmy and Betty Williamson and a great-granddaughter, Myleigh Narramore, preceded him in death.

Gabby is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Mary Lou Williamson; sons, Jimmy & Tanya Williamson, John Williamson; daughters, LuAnna & Rick Cook, Janna & James Hodge and Julie & Michael Brown; a brother, Chuck & Terry Williamson; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Minister Joel Danley officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
