James Robert “Rusty” Taylor, 57, of Soddy Daisy, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019. Rusty was a carpenter as well a flooring installer for many years.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Kitty Young and James and Willie Taylor; a nephew, Stoney Taylor and a step-son, James Robert Edmonson.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Mary Etta Taylor; daughters, Nikki Taylor Mills, Amber Plemmons; sisters, Cindy Taylor, Anna Sue Taylor, Liz Lasley, Robin Jackson and Charla Hampton; long-time companion, Rhonda Dobbs; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday. Services will follow at 2:30 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

His family wants to offer a special thanks to the Hearth Hospice Nurses, Rusty Pickard and especially Carrie Pritchett.
