Dear Cindy and the Entire Riesz Family,
I am truly saddened to hear about Jim's passing. He always had a kind word to share with me and a welcoming smile. It seems like yesterday when we were wishing him well in his retirement. James and I extend our deepest condolences to you.

Bev & I are saddened by Jim's passing and send our heartfelt condolences. We wish the family the best during this time of sadness. I will remember a great Class of '71 classmate who was always big on caring for others. Jim and I were in "F Troop" together and have lots of good memories. He certainly will be missed! You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Jim was a wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word. I remember "hearing" Jim's heavy footsteps way before I would see him. He leaves behind some very big cowboy boots to fill. My deepest sympathies. - Cindy

Cindy, Jen and Holly,
I am so sorry for your loss. The last time we talked... Jim spoke of how lucky he felt...how loved he felt... how at peace he felt. We laughed together about life not being fair... that we were far luckier that we deserved. He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim,

Wow, What a Shock! You will definitely be missed! You were a sincere man who played a mean 3rd base in softball! You were a rare combination of professional and personable. Our heart goes out to your family and close friends and my prayer is that this loss will draw them into a new or closer walk with the Lord!

Blessings, my friend.

Jim was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. He left a legacy at the Board and made an impact on anyone who crossed his path.

Some of my fondest memories of Jim & Cindy are from Nationals Park! Jim left an indelible mark upon all he touched, and we are better for it. We miss you Jim and are thankful for all you’ve done for us.

Sending our love and prayers to Cindy and the rest of the family.

Jim was one of the best people I knew. He started off as a great boss and ended as one of my dearest friends. I truly appreciate all that Jim did for me over the years - the many laughs, the support, his wisdom, and I could go on and on. I will miss him beyond measure.

Cindy, Jen and Holly: You had one heck of a husband and father who loved you immensely. I hope the great memories will carry you through this challenging time. I wish I could be there with you today for the services. I will be there in spirit. I'm praying for the level of comfort and peace that only God can provide.

Love,
Tara Pelitere & Family

Bless those who mourn, eternal God,
with the comfort of your love
that they may face each new day with hope
and the certainty that nothing can destroy
the good that has been given.

May their memories become joyful,
their days enriched with friendship,
and their lives encircled by your love

we will miss you, Jim

My condolences are sent to Cindy and Jim's children and grand children and the many friends he's met since moving to Tennessee. I still miss not working with Jim as my Contractor Officer, at the FED. He was one of the best people I'd worked for during my 30 + years and Contracting years there. My heart breaks for Cindy and his children in their loss of him. Those of us who knew him well and worked with Jim, also will miss him tremendously. He was a great guy.
