Tribute

James “David” Gauger, 61, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He worked for L.H. Lewis Tree Service for several years before he started working at Floyd Hardware. David loved to fish with his baby girl and his dog, Bud Bud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster Gauger and Vera Reel; brother, Jack Hickman, Jr. and sister, Rhonda Mae Hickman.

Survivors are his daughter, Rhonda Gauger and her mother, Misty Perkey; nephews, Tommy, Timmy, Steve Hickman, cousins, Carolyn Eddings and Teresa Lanter; aunts, Bernice Reel of Chattanooga and Loretta Reel of TX; and extended family.

Services will be on Saturday, January 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Granny Walker Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
