Jack Doyle Hundley, 88 of Soddy- Daisy, passed away on January 31, 2018. Jack worked for Exxon Mobile for 30 years and Walsh Construction for 8 years, before going into business for himself; opening Jack’s construction and Equipment Sale, until his passing. Jack was also of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army Veteran in the 181st Airborne Division, where he was a paratrooper. He was a huge supporter of the Vietnams Veterans Group and helped start the first fire department in Soddy Daisy.

 

Jack is survived by his two sons, Mike “Moose” Hundley (Judy) and Doyle E. Hundley (Pennie); a sister, Pollie Kennedy; four grandchildren, Kristie Stilt (Terry), Wade Hundley (Jamie), Tina Hundley, and Dylan Hundley; 3 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stilt, Allison Stilt, and Haley Kate Hadley; as well as his special friends, Jim Jardine, Willie Smith, Iva and Jim Lillard, and his caregiver Gwen Hodge.

 

A memorial service will be held at Jack’s home on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to:
