Hank Irwin

Hansard McKinley “Hank” Irwin, 85, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was a member and usher at Middle Valley Church of God. Hank served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Combustion Engineering with over 30 years of service. Hank was preceded in death by two wives, Margaret Irwin and Betty Benton Irwin; sisters, Ethel Irwin and Myrtle Penny.

Survivors are his stepchildren, Gerald Benton (Freda), Steve Benton, David Benton (Denise); nephew, Michael Penny and niece, Twila Wade; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

Services will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Mitch McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
