Rock Cary

George Wrocter “Rock” Cary, 90, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion. Rock worked for Fred Reece Skillern for many years as a truck driver for Dixie Souvenirs. He loved nature, the outdoors and gardening. Rock was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Yvonne Cary; parents, George and Minnie Cary; brother, Millis Rose and sisters, Dorothy Rose Barker and Geraldine Cary Flerl.

Survivors are his sister, Reba Pinson of Murray, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
