Frances Vandergriff Fuller

Frances Fuller, 89, of Bakewell, TN passed away on June 22, 2017. She was the postmistress of the Bakewell Post Office for over 25 years and was a member of Bakewell Bible Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Fuller; brothers, Seborn, Russell, Leon, Claude, and George Vandergriff; and sisters, Helen Coulter and Estell Varner. Frances enjoyed cooking, gardening, and taking care of her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Dennis Welch.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Frances’ devoted niece, Lora Burroughs and her husband Billy; Mom and Joy’s Lifesaver; special friend, Lois Underwood; Lisa Acuff, from Five Star Home Healthcare, for her kindness; Woodlawn Terrace for their extraordinary care and patience; and her son-in-law, Dennis Welch, for his understanding and love.

A graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. The family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
