Frances G. Dyer
Frances Dyer, 80, of Chattanooga passed away on August 4, 2017. She was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Dyer and her sister, Nancey McCary. The family would like to give a special thank you to all those at Caris Hospice.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Wanda) Dyer, Gary (Roxanne) Dyer of Signal Mountain, and Steve (Diane) Dyer of Dunlap; daughter, Cynthia (Harold) Hicks of Signal Mountain; brother, Kenneth (Ellen) Griffith of Signal Mountain; sister, Mildred Lawson of Atlanta; as well as 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandhildren.
Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stacey Seals and Rev. Eddie Harris presiding. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday August, 6, 2017 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will include Phillip Dyer, Calvin Dyer, Allen Reed, Ray Whitinburg, Jay Remillard, and Jason Reed.
