Emma Ruth Dodson

Emma Ruth Dodson, 85, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She loved quilting, woodwork and her family most. She worked many years in retail. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Ruth was loved by so many and they will cherish the memories. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Charles Dodson; parents, William Frances Kerr and Amanda Laurene (Simmons) Kerr; son, Greg Roberts and siblings, Judy Sullivan, Bill Kerr, John Kerr, Ray Kerr, Mary Goode and James Clifton Kerr.

Survivors are her sisters, Betty Sullivan, Shirley Filo, Marilyn Harris, Kathy Frady; children, Gary Roberts, Kenny Roberts, Ruth-Ann Couie, Deloris Dodson, Linda Bovard, Charlene Dodson, Charles Dodson, Shannon Hays; 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
