Jane Mitchell
Ella Jane Mitchell, 53, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2017, surrounded by family and friends. She was employed by Bi-Lo for 15 years. Jane was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Sister. Her greatest passion was taking care of her family. She has probably clocked more miles than most taxis. As far as fishing, we believe she enjoyed the “digging worms” part the best.
Jane is survived by her husband of 30 years, Scott Mitchell; and children, Becky Breedlove, Devin Walker (Layla), Bradley Mitchell (Amanda); mother, Christine Cranmore (Jim); grandchildren, Destiny Mikel, Ethan Reno, Wyatt Breedlove, Tyler Breedlove, Braylee Walker, and Garren Mitchell; siblings, Ronald Skiles, Andy Swanner, Janet Johnson (Chris), and Danny Shipley; aunts and uncles, Betty Yearwood (Wendell), Milford Skiles (Brenda), and Wilma Stewart.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 17, 2017, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Welsh-Rogers cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 9:00 Sunday, July 16, 2017, at the funeral home.
