Jane Hardy

Elizabeth Jane Hardy, 63, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2018. She was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama and loved to race slot cars. Jane was a member of Straightway Holiness Church. She was a caregiver for many years working at nursing homes and different homes for those she took care of. She loved her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren lit up her world. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Duggan and Betty Duggan; brother, Billy Mack Long and grandson, Nicholas Morgan.

Survivors are her husband, John Hardy; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Chris Lewis; daughter, Angela Joyner; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Deanette Ring ; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Sam Davis; brother, Carl Long; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Renee and Roger Brandon, Kim Massey and Delilah and Ricky Daniel; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Troy Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park. Visitation is Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
