Douglas Erin Kirk

Douglas Kirk, 53, passed away on April 27, 2019. Everything he did, he did for his family and put his whole heart into them. His greatest joy in the last few years of his life was being PeePaw to his grandchildren. Douglas was a lifelong supporter of the Republican Party, being a strong country- man; who was at his happiest when he was spending time with his family outdoors, teaching others about the farm life.  Douglas had a degree in engineering and several certifications in homeland security and food safety. Douglas was a Christian man who loved God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sharon and Alan Kotouc, brother, Paul Kotouc, grandparents, James and Ruth Thompson, and cousin, Debbie Thompson.

He is survived by sons, Nicholas (Hillary) Kirk, Doug Suddath, David Suddath, and Andy Suddath, and grandchildren, Ethan and Hazel Kirk and Micah and Eueva Suddath, as well as his uncles Terry and Eddie Thompson. 

Services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Welsh- Rogers Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to services.
