Delmer Duane "Junior" Barbee

Delmer Duane “Junior” Barbee, 68, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved playing music, hunting and fishing. Delmer was retired from La-z-boy, worked at Hamilton County Parks and Recreation. He worked the most building homes with Bill Johnson Construction. He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora “Toby” Ray and father, Delmer L. Barbee and brothers, Marshall and Randy Barbee.

Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Barbara Inez Barbee; brother, Larron Barbee (Glenda); daughters, Angela Barbee, Chastity Wright (Jason) and Amy Weaver; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Robert Cothran officiating.
