David Hankins

David A. Hankins, 70, of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.  He was retired from Industrial Boiler and Mechanical Company and a member of the Boilermakers Union Local  #454.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah Hankins and brothers, Glenn and Kent Hankins. 

Survivors are his daughters, Rebecca Porter (Steve) and Lora Pierce (Jesse); brothers, Johnny, Ronnie and Donald Hankins; sisters, Sharon Hankins, Karla Edmonds and Darla Lawson; grandchildren, Ryan Porter, Ella Pierce, Elisabeth Pierce, Emily Pierce and Elijah Pierce.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.  There will be Air Force Military Honors. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
