Bill Thomas

Cleveland William “Bill” Thomas, Sr, 79, of Soddy Daisy, passed away July 25, 2022. He was of the Baptist Faith. Bill was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for tent manufacturing companies in the Chattanooga area and helped make the largest red, white and blue tent that has ever been made. Music was his life having created Scenic Country Boys, where they donated their time and abilities to many charities throughout the area.

His first wife, Evelyn Jewell Thomas; his second wife, Barbara Jean Patterson Thomas; sisters, Linda Brown and Deborah Faye Brown and brothers, Samuel Roy Brown, Donald Ray Brown, Daniel Roy Brown and Robert Lewis Brown preceded him in death.
 
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Thomas; sons, Bill Thomas and Brad Thomas; brothers, Ashton Thomas, Jeffery Lynn Brown and Bill Bland; a sister, Barbara Ann Berry along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 0 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Williamson & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
