Celia Rhea Cravens Adams

Celia Rhea Adams, 77, of Soddy Daisy, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2021, at her home surrounded by loving family members.

Celia Rhea Cravens, was born in Jamestown, TN to E. C. Cravens and Leeta (Buster) Fields on July 15, 1944. She was married to Marion Earl Adams, April 14, 1973 in Chattanooga, TN.

Celia is preceded in death by her mother Leeta (Buster) Fields; father E C Cravens; sister Sheilah (N B) Moore; brothers Eddie Payne Cravens (Judy), and Barry Cravens.

Celia is survived by her husband of 48 years, Earl Adams; daughter Celia Ann (Floyd) Bledsoe; stepson Mark (Mary) Adams; brothers Ernest (Velma) Cravens and Amos Cravens; sisters Toy Lona Cravens Wilson, and Mona Cravens. Grandchildren David Mead; Daniel Bledsoe; Dustin Bledsoe; and Christie Bledsoe. Great grandchildren Caylin Bledsoe; Jasey Bledsoe; Emily Bledsoe; and Raven Gross.

She was a member of Mile Straight Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy, TN.

Celia was known for her spontaneous, delightful laugh and her warm, caring heart.

Celia requested there be no public visitation or memorial. She only wanted a private, family graveside service which will be held 1:00 pm, October 14, 2021, at Chattanooga Memorial Park, 501 Memorial Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37315 with her brother, Ernest Cravens, officiating.
