Bobby Sanders

Bobby Eugene Sanders went home to be with Jesus while at home on July 7, 2020 after a hard fought battle with his heart.

Bobby loved old westerns and the Tennessee Vols. One of his favorite things to do was to visit the local barbershop where he was known as “Colonel Sanders”. Many world problems were resolved there each week.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of thirty three years, Carolyn Sanders; son, Mark Sanders; step-daughter, Carla (Bo) Mooney; step-son, Rick Elsea; brother, Danny (Susan) Sanders; sister, Linda Higgins along with seven grandkids and seven great-grandkids.

A private burial will take place in the Chattanooga National Cemetery for family to honor him for his service to his country. A public memorial will be planned at a later time,
