Betty Lou Peavy

Betty Peavy, September 19, 1934- December 23, 2019, a resident of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away at the Soddy Daisy Nursing Facility. Funeral Services will be directed by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in Soddy Daisy on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.e.s.t. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Williamsons. A graveside service will be held at Cain’s Chapel Methodist Church in Holtville, AL on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 am c.s.t.

Mrs. Peavy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louella Lewis; sisters, Laura Elizabeth, Nell and Ann; and her brothers, Edwin “Pete” and Benton.

She is survived by her brother, Carl D (Diane) Lewis of Holtville. Also surviving are her children, Ken (Shelia) Peavy, Debra (Roger) Welch and Steve (Becky) Peavy; as well as seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and seven great great- grandchildren.
