Betty Coulter Williamson

Betty Coulter Williamson, 95, of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. She was a member of Soddy Church of Christ. She and her husband, Jimmy Williamson, founded Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in 1950.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Williamson; parents, Jones and Allie Brown Coulter; identical twin sister, Billie Garrison; and brothers, Bob and Ted Coulter.

Survivors are her sons, Gabby (Mary Lou) Williamson and Chuck (Terry) Williamson, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks for the love and care given by her caretakers, Jan Lewis, Amy Burkhart, Patsy Connor, Debbie Fugate, and Carolyn McCamish.

A special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga as well for their loving care.

Betty especially loved her pets, Mollie, Dolly, and Bitsy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Betty’s memory to Soddy Church of Christ (PO Box 187, Soddy Daisy TN, 37384) or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105).

Graveside services will be held in Hamilton County Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020 with Minister Jerry Clements presiding.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
