Betty Moody

Betty Sara Beavers Moody, 90, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee passed away March 11, 2023. Betty was deeply loved and is remembered for the love she had for her family, her enjoyment of shopping at Walmart, being with her friends at Wimpy’s, and how she enjoyed housekeeping and crafts. She also love her dog, Daisy Mae.

Her parents, Ernest A. Brown and Lillie Belle Allmon Roberts, her grandson, KIA in Iraq, Sgt. John Michael Sullivan, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Dawn Springer (Floyd), Sidney Alan Beavers (Janice), Richard Kevin Beavers and Charles Don Beavers (Debbie); her grandchildren, Dale Alan Springer, Dean Martin Springer (Kathleen), Maj. Kevin Alan Beavers (Stefanie), Scott Alan Beavers (Tara), Michelle Sullivan and her great-grandchildren, Cody Alan Springer, Parker Floyd Springer, John M. Sullivan Jr., Stella Tennessee Beavers, Bo Alan Beavers, Joseph King and Alice Vann and two brothers, Jimmy Don Brown and Billy Roberts.

Visitation is 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. Burial will follow in Hensley Cemetery.
