Betty Irwin

Betty Benton Irwin, of Hixson, went to sleep in the Lord July 31, 2019. She was a member of the Middle Valley Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Benton; mother, Ruth Hughes, father, Joe Grant and three brothers, Taylor and Herman Grant and Leon Shipley.

Betty was survived by her husband of twenty six years, Hank Irwin; sons, Gerald (Freda) Benton, Steve Benton and David (Denise) Benton; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Mitch McClure officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
