I worked in security (PSS) at SNP back in the early 80s. We naturally had contact with all employees inside the plant. Most often I would be assigned to a post where the carpenters would be working or pass by. I had the pleasure of occasionally chatting with the team of Sonny & Richard "Red"Jones. They were a kind, funny, and 'happy-go-lucky pair that made your day a lot brighter. Sonny did some work on my Mom's kitchen and also made another friend for life. But, I never imagined Sonny would follow Richard's passing so soon. They were two fine men and some of Daisy's very finest. Sonny was quiet. But, if you got him on a subject he liked you could get him talking. We mostly talked about kinfolk. I know he will be greatly missed. I'm sorry!
