Barbara Adams

Barbara Anne Eustice Adams, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. Barbara was the co-captain of the basketball team and voted wittiest for the class of 1953 at Soddy-Daisy High School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. Barbara served as county court clerk for over 30 years with the Hamilton County Court House. She was an avid reader and loved gospel music. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren called her “Bami”. Preceding her in death were her parents, Bruce and Myrtle Eustice and 7 siblings.

Survivors include her son, Chris Adams (Jennifer); daughter, Jamie Ingle (Philip); grandchildren, Rebekah Susman (Andy), Josh Ingle, Chase Adams and Chance Adams; great grandchildren, Sophie and Tripp Susman, Austin and Carson Ingle; special niece, Sandy Frazier; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, her favorite charity.
