Jo Padgett

Thelma R. “Jo” Skiles Padgett, 80, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. She was a native of Soddy-Daisy and lived in the North Georgia area. Jo retired from the Roper Corporation. She loved music and her family. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alice Skiles and siblings, Ruby Parrott, Arnold Skiles, Dean Brooks and Clyde Skiles.

Survivors include her son, Dan Padgett; daughters, Susan Adams (Johnny) and Deena Entwistle; brothers, Morris Skiles and Johnny Skiles (Sherry); sister, Georgia Parrott; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Varner Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
