Dad, I feel so lost without you in this world. I've either taken care of you or worried about you the past 5 years. You were a wonderful dad to us growing up and I will always remember your words of wisdom about sports and about the Bible. I pray that God has taken you home with him. Your nickname for me growing up was big Sam and Val was Little Sam and that is another thing that I will always remember. I love you and I miss you.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort.”(2 Cor 1:3) One day soon, all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28, 29) May these promises from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
