Jean Maynor

Reba Jean Maynor, 85, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her residence. She was a member of Mile Straight Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. Jean was a member of Class of 1949 at Central High School and a wedding coordinator for over 25 years. She was a lover of nature and her canine babies including Lulu and Maximillian. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mildred Brooks; brother, Tommy Brooks; sister, Ann Wolfe and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott and Eliza Maynor.

Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Don Maynor; children, Alice Brown, Mary Griswold (Rick), Phyllis Maynor and Donna Rector (Jon); brother-in-law, Jim Wolfe; grandchildren, Jeannie Suttle (Bo), Becky Holder, Jonathan Griswold (Kayla), Jason Burt, Jason Griswold (Virginia) and Abby Rector (Greg Carter); great grandchildren, Molly, Christopher, Grace, Jenna, Ava, Ana, Wyatt, Kristen, Faith, Jason, Jr., Myles, Rylee Jean; great great granddaughter, Vivienne and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Mile Straight Baptist Church with Rev. Al Goss, Rev. Tom Goss and Rev. Jon Rector officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
