Norris Hatfield

Norris Hatfield, 78, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2017. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Norris served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Red Food, Bi-Lo and Food City for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Rogers Hatfield; his parents, Hillard and Lillie Hatfield; his siblings, Floyd Hatfield, J.W. Hatfield, Colleen Harris and Pauline Woodward.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Hatfield and wife, Mandy of Apison and Rick Hatfield and wife, Michelle of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Jillian Hatfield, John Michael Hatfield, Jack Hatfield, Emma Hatfield and Taylor Young; siblings, Ray Hatfield, David Hatfield, Nora Frizzell and Nanny Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
