June Sisk

Lillian June Major Sisk, 95, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017. She lived in Soddy-Daisy since 1951. June was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for children and adults. She enjoyed quilting. A dedicated wife and mother, she was very committed to her family. June was preceded in death by her husband, James Sisk; grandson, B.J. Goddard and all her siblings.

Survivors include her son, Bill Sisk (Sherry); daughters, Gayle Goddard Smith, Patsy Marshall and Brenda Hobbs (Philip); 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don Sapp officiating. Visitation is Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Avalon Hospice.
