Jewell Dean Jones, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Jewell was born on March 2, 1937, and was a lifelong resident of Sale Creek, Tennessee. Jewell is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Darlene Jones, Allan and Carolyn Jones, Greg and Linda Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Curtis Roddy, Julia and Thomas Doss, Kellie and Richard Aslinger; special daughters, Sonja and Odie Everett; many friends and loved ones who are going to miss her dearly; grandsons, Ben and Stacie Jones, James and Ashley Jones, Vince Roddy, Trever Jones and Clifford Hindman; great grandchildren, Ridge Dotson, Ivy Jewell, Katherine Jones, Maggie Jones, Jude Jones, Raylin Jones and Ryleigh Jones and many children who lovingly called her “Granny”.

Our mother and father were always so giving and have been especially known to help those in need. Their compassion will always be remembered. Especially dear to their heart was St. Jude and believed the best reason to give to them was because they ha been blessed with healthy children. We will continue their legacy and encourage others to do so as well.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Sale Creek Rescue Squad, Hamilton County EMS, the staff at Memorial Hospital and Memorial Home Health and the staff of Williamson and Sons Funeral Home. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.
