James Marshall "Orange Yodeler" Daughtrey, 65, of Chattanooga passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. His love was music and was a well- known singer, songwriter and recording artist. He attended Carpenter’s Church. He was a graduate of Hixson High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and worked for Unum Provident. He was preceded in death by the true love of his life and precious wife, Carol Mae Everett Daughtrey; his parents, William and Belle Daughtrey; brother, Nick Daughtrey and sister, Carolyn Tuck.
Survivors are his brother, Tom Daughtrey (Patty); sister, Sara Lou Shetter and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating and a gathering from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the service.
