Gary S Hubbard Sr.

Gary S. Hubbard, Sr., 74, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. He was larger than life and he believed in Jesus Christ as his savior. He left here with peace that only Jesus Christ can provide. Gary was of the Baptist faith, was retired from Dupont after 43 years, was a 32 degree Mason, and a lifelong member of the N.R.A. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Pearl Hubbard, daughter, Crista Daniel, and brother, Bobby Hubbard.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Hubbard; sons, Gary Stephen (Sandy) Hubbard Jr. of Sale Creek and Ashlie Stephen (Shelley) Hubbard of Harrison; stepsons, DJ (Sonya) Carter and Shane (Heather) Carter; daughter, Debra (Greg) Warren of Sale Creek; sisters, Helen Manning of Chattanooga, Carol Jackson of Chattanooga, Linda McAllester of Chattanooga, and Betty Bryson of Kentucky; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dwight Martin presiding. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. both Sunday, August 20 and Monday, August 21 at the funeral home.
