Faynette Wright

Faynette Gibson Wright, aged 95, of Soddy Daisy, passed away peacefully in her home on January 16, 2018. She was born on August 19, 1922 in Soddy, TN to Frank and Annie Gibson. She graduated from Soddy Daisy High School in 1942. She had worked at Kingsboro Silk Mill. She was of the Baptist Faith. Faynette was a loving wife, mother, and grandma. She loved (and was loved by) her neighbors, friends and her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marson Wright; son, Marty Wright; grandson, William Wright; and brothers, Reginald Gibson and Bernard Gibson.

Faynette is survived by daughter, Marsha (David) Miller; sons, Ray (Joyce) Wright and Roger Wright; grandchildren, Scotty Wright and Whitney (Scotty) Nelson, and special great grandson J.J. Harvey, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
