Effie Opheia Daughtery, 93, of Rising Fawn, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was of the Baptist faith and preceded in death by her husband, Grayden Daughtery; son, William Barney Daughtery and daughter, Kathy Darlene Daughtery.
Survivors include her children, George Daughtery, Annie Daffron, Sarah Daffron, Charlotte McPherson, Donna Jones, Emma Barton, Sheila Young and Sheena Roberts; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services are Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Varner Cemetery. Visitation is 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
