Raybon Collins

Douglas “Raybon” Collins, 69, of Hixson, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was a member of Omega Harvest Church. Raybon served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed with the City of Chattanooga for 18 years with the fire and police automobile shop. Raybon loved being “Dah” and watching his grandchildren play ball.

Survivors are his loving wife, Jean Campbell Collins; son, Adam Collins; daughter April Petty (Billy); grandchildren, Will Petty and Kaleb Petty; brothers, Kenny Collins (Ann) and Jerry Collins (Melba); sisters, Shirley Smith, Mary Partrich (Doug) and Doris Greenwood (Charles); many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mia Pittman Head and Bishop Charles Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
