Clarence Brown

Clarence A. Brown, 84, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 after a brief illness. He was a member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. Clarence served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from DuPont with 35 years of service where he was a supervisor. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Ann Brown; brothers, James Brown and Charles Brown and sisters, Dorothy Greer and Margaret Bohlman.

Survivors are his sons; Kent Brown (Anne), Scott Brown (Barbara “Bo”) and Randy Brown (Christal); grandchildren, Nicholas, Ian, Sydney and Mallory Brown; cousins, Gary Card and Tommy Levi; brother-in-law, Robert Mauldin and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Buttram, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Card Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Navy. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
