Charles Vance Pollard

Vance Pollard of Soddy Daisy passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2024. He was 85. He was employed by Combustion Engineering for many years, and later retired from McKee Baking Company. He was an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers & NASCAR Racing.

He was the son of the late Forrest and Flora (Rigsby) Pollard. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly (Pollard) Wilson.

Vance is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn; son, Scott and his wife, Karen. Two granddaughters, Cassie Hyde (Tim) and Allyson Head (Chris). Brother-in-law, Monty Wilson and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.
