Betty Jean Morton
Betty Morton, 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Thelma Brown White.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dr. Jack Morton of Soddy-Daisy, TN; son, Thad (Gina) Morton of Greenville, SC; daughters, Karen (Glenn) Collins of Ringgold, GA, Lisa (Chris) Kline of Soddy-Daisy, TN, and Marnie (Chris) Marcus of Rossville, TN; brother, Robert J. White of Ocoee, TN; sisters, Linda Haulk, of Cleveland, TN, Sally Bergan of West Layette, IN, and Rebecca Harris of Chattanooga, TN; as well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday March 21, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; internment to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday March 20, 2017 at the funeral home.
