Barbara Dixon

Barbara Mae Dixon, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2024. She loved going to church and eating breakfast at Wimpies. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Bell; son, Travis Mincey; parents, Hazel and Stancel Thompson; brothers, Charles, Roger and Russell Thompson and sisters, Mildred Smith and Wanda Davis.

Survivors are her loving husband, Charles “Larry” Dixon; her loving son, Troy Mincey; her loving daughter, Melody Ricketts; sisters, Sue Creasman and Shirley Thompson; brothers, Cecil Thompson (Sharon) and David Thompson (Faye); several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Timothy Geer officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park.
